At Little Larks Day Nursery & Pre-school we believe that children benefit most from early years education and care when parents and settings work together in partnership.

 

Our aim is to support parents as their children's first and most important educators by involving them in their children's education and in the full life of our setting.

We achieve this in a variety of ways:

• Regular communication during handovers at the beginning and end of the day

• Dedicated Key Person for every child

• Our Blossom Parent App (available on Apple and Android) tells you everything you need to know about your child's day at nursery in an instant:-

  • Daily diaries with details of sleeps, meals/milk taken, nappy changes and activities during the day

  • Keep updated on progress and development with Learning Journeys

  • Share special moments or pictures from home with your Key Person

  • Keep information about your child up to date in the 'All About Me' section

  • Keep track of your child's booking schedule

  • Paperless billing

  • Newsletters and updates from Nursery

• Regular social media updates via Facebook & Instagram (we only include children who have permission)

• Parents Evenings

• Events such as afternoon tea, breakfasts, parties and 'show and tell'

• Feedback questionnaires

• Open door policy - we are always approachable, ready to listen and offer support
